During my internship, I was fortunate enough to be an assistant coach for the JV B Girls Soccer team. I worked one-on-one with the girls at practice and helped them put their skills into action during games. I also attended many of the JV A and Varsity games to show my support and offer encouragement on the sidelines. I really enjoyed getting to know the girls. It was great to also see some of my students in a different atmosphere. It was an unforgettable learning experience and a great addition to my internship year. Coaching is something that I hope to continue throughout my teaching career.
